Finance can be defined as the conduct or transaction of money matters as it relates to banking and/or investing. The beauty of finance and the principles thereof is that they can also be applied to one’s own personal life and monetary matters. In business, finance is centered around a budget. A budget is an itemized estimate of expected income and expenses for a given period in the future. Similar to business practices, personal finance also begins with a budget.
Budgeting is essential when planning for the future. Whether the end goal is to save for a child’s college education, retirement, or the transition to entrepreneurship, we develop guidelines for success and alternative solutions to afford set goals. We especially seek to work with low income and impoverished families to overcome the challenges they face. No goal is too lofty when ambition meets structure and direction. So, whatever a family’s end goal may be, our goal is to make sure that the family’s year-end financial position is always better than its previous.
